Power Apps

What is Power Apps?

Microsoft Power Apps is a set of tools that provides the functionality to build bespoke apps to automate repetitive processes and generate huge efficiencies. It levels the playing field with the ‘big boys’ once again and allows SME’s to massively streamline their business and make a real difference.  The beauty of it being that you can design it so that it is specific to your company’s requirements.

Where Power Apps differs from traditional developer tools is that it can be used by ‘non-technical’ people to create apps.  That being said, a reasonable amount of technical knowledge is required but what it means is that you don’t have to purely rely on developers to do the work for you and it is hugely easier to generate new apps.

How Can You Use Power Apps?

It can be utilised right across your organisation in a complex and intricate manner, or in a comparatively simple format with just a couple of processes. Basically, it depends how deep you want to go – even improving the fundamentals can be highly effective.

Power Apps can be used via website, mobile devices or on Office 365 tools such as Teams
